Frequently Asked Questions
Why Virtual?
Running-related injuries don’t require passive, hands-on treatment to get better. Most of the time you can accomplish with a foam roller what I could with my hands. And I’ve never met a runner who can’t remember how to do a rehab exercise with proper teaching and communication.
What injuries do require is you understanding it, how to keep exercising, and what you need to do to allow it to feel better.
Do you offer in-person visits?
Not yet. I work virtually with runners, and most of the time, that’s all they need. If you did require hands-on care, I’d be happy to refer you to a trusted PT.
That said, I do hope to have a physical space in the future. When that happens, I’ll still keep virtual visits available - because convenience and flexibility are part of what makes this model work well.
How does a virtual exam work?
They look very similar to an in-person exam. I learn the most about your injury from listening to your story and how your symptoms behave.
When the time does come for the orthopedic exam, I’ll guide you confidently through specific movements and tests. All you need is your device and a space where I can see you move.
Do you only treat running injuries?
Nope! I have experience treating all orthopedic problems and am happy to work with you on them.
