What Sets Me Apart
INSIGHT
Many physical therapists and physicians blame running pain on weakness or poor form, failing to address important patterns in your training and unique lifestyle. I take a systems-level approach to rehab – meaning I examine the whole picture and provide you with helpful insight into your injury. By putting the pieces of the puzzle together, we build a clear path to lasting recovery and better running.
PURPOSE
My main purpose in physical therapy is to understand your unique story and to help you return to non-painful training. But also helping you realize that the purpose of physical therapy is to reduce pain and the purpose of training is to make you stronger and faster. Both have impacts on your recovery, but making that distinction is critical for you to actually get better.
TIME
You’ll get more time with me than you’ll get with other therapists. I’ll give you realistic timeframes for when you can expect to feel better, get back to activity, and get back to normal training.
INDEPENDENCE
You know your body better than anyone, and I rely on that. Much of your success comes from learning to trust what you feel and respond to it with confidence. I give you the framework, the knowledge, and the tools to take charge of your recovery. My goal is to empower you to manage your rehab independently, knowing I’m here as your trusted partner whenever you need guidance.
PARTNERSHIP
I want to be your go-to-expert for all things movement, pain, and training. Together, we’ll build a plan that works for you and a partnership focused on keeping you feeling good and staying active.
